Most rooms still write driver's-license numbers on a sticky note and hope nobody walks. Pocket Theory HQ does it differently: scan the back of the ID with a Zebra DS9308, parse the AAMVA barcode in under a second, and apply your check-in hold policy automatically.

  1. Scan the AAMVA barcode Parses name, DOB, license number, expiration. Works on every US state.
  2. Match or create the profile Existing member? Profile loads with package balance and membership tier. Walk-in? New customer record created in seconds.
  3. Apply the hold policy ID hold, card hold, both, or none — configured per merchant, overridable by a manager with PIN and reason code.
  4. Age verify & flag the table DOB is checked against today's date. Under-21? The table picks up an UNDER-21 marker on the floor map. Compliance without confrontation.
  5. Start the session Table assignment, rate plan resolution, session start — one tap from a verified guest.
